Fun and addictive... but...
Overall this is a very good and addictive game. Its fun to play and a great way to kill time. It makes you think, like a combination puzzel and action game.
I have to admire the simplicity of it and the overall feel. It truly feels like you are in the animations and helping that poor stick figure along. Its good that the drop computer can easily figure out what block needs to fall.
There are some flaws though which bring it down.
First, the sensitivity for death is very off. No matter what the circumstance if you are on the ground and any part of you overlaps a block you die. Even if its you hand bumping into the wall.
Second is that the blocks will occassionally misalign when you hit them. This can cause some issues with the special moves.
Third, the Grab+Roll (K) needs some work. It lets you travel up through solid block. I can't say how many times this has saved me from what should of been certain doom.
It also will work no matter how high the block in front of you is. Even if its only slighly higher due to falling or misaligned blocks you will perform the action. This though is variable, I've had it go up three blocks at once but moments earlier it refused to go up two.
Fourth is the Wall Jump (J). This has two major flaws. One is it takes forever after a wall jump to be able to perform another. You asume that if your in a narrow passage you could jump, jump, jump. jump up the walls. But instead its you get one, maybe two wall jumps then it stops working. You have to fall quite a bit to wall jump again.
The other problem with the wall jump is on the ground. If you stand next to a wall and press J you will automatically do a wall jump. Worst part about this is that it may cause a slight overlap which kills you instantly.
Overall its a good game but really could of gone through some more bug testing first.
And just because I can, despite the glitches high score 514 seconds before a glitch killed me.
